At work on a book of creative nonfiction myth busting spiritual enlightenment (a decade+-long project). Interested in practical wisdom that doesn’t take itself too seriously, the dangers of interpretation & storytelling, and grouping personalities into categories.

Currently living the artist life in Iowa City while aspiring to start a creative healing community for Bad Asian Daughters everywhere. Once upon a time, in other lives, was a science journalist and happiness researcher in Hong Kong; a private investigator in San Francisco; and a life coach in Shanghai.

Intend to befriend Sheila Heti and meet the reincarnation of the late, great Chinese philosopher Lin Yutang. Obsessed with Bernardo Kastrup’s analytic idealism as theory of life, the universe, and everything.

One day, will finally write the nerdy, unconventional romantasy of my dreams.
